Pretomanid – New orphan drug approval
August 14, 2019 - The FDA announced the approval of TB Alliance’s pretomanid, as part of a combination regimen with Sirturo® (bedaquiline) and linezolid for the treatment of adults with pulmonary extensively drug resistant (XDR), treatment-intolerant or nonresponsive multidrug-resistant (MDR) tuberculosis (TB).
