Xeljanz®, Xeljanz XR (tofacitinib) – New Boxed Warning
July 26, 2019 - The FDA announced that new warnings will be added to the tofacitinib (Xeljanz, Xeljanz XR) drug label regarding an increased risk of pulmonary embolism and death with the 10 mg twice daily dose in patients with ulcerative colitis (UC).
