Pfizer/BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines – CDC recommends primary series in 6 months to 4 or 5 years of age
June 17 and 18, 2022, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) recommended a primary series of 2 doses of Moderna COVID-19 vaccine for individuals 6 months to 5 years of age and a primary series of 3 doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine for individuals 6 months to 4 years of age, under the emergency use authorization (EUA) issued by the FDA.
