Viekira XR™ – New formulation approval
July 25, 2016 – AbbVie announced the approval of Viekira XR (dasabuvir, ombitasvir, paritaprevir, ritonavir) extended-release (ER) tablets, for the treatment of adult patients with chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) genotype 1b infection without cirrhosis or with compensated cirrhosis, and genotype 1a infection without cirrhosis or with compensated cirrhosis for use in combination with ribavirin.
