Spikevax™ (COVID-19 vaccine, mRNA) – CDC’s ACIP votes to recommend vaccine for adults 18 years of age and older
February 4, 2022 - The Center for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) met to discuss the FDA approval of Moderna’s Spikevax (COVID-19 vaccine, mRNA), for active immunization to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in individuals 18 years of age and older.
